RTLINE-optima CA instant glue

CA-adhesive with short setting time and wide adhesion spectrum. Thanks to its wide adhesion spectrum, RTLINE glue is suitable for a lot of different materials and for many application fields in trade and industry, and particularly for the bonding of different plastic materials.

WORKING INSTRUCTIONS

RTLINE-optima  is applied onto one side of the surface to be bonded  that must be first dry and free from grease and dust.  The surfaces to be bonded are cleaned with special substances, if necessary with acetone, depending on the resistance of the material surface. The surfaces to be bonded are joined together within the film formation time of the adhesive and pressed together until functional hardness has been achieved.

RTLINE hardens up influenced by humidity and temperature. Due to its relatively low viscosity, RTLINE-optima cannot withstand a tension >0,1mm on the adhesive gap.

* Aluminum bonding: Only possible on chemically pre-treated or lacquered surfaces; bright aluminum can only be bonded with a  long-lasting aging resistance with a suitable pre-treatment of the surfaces to be bonded. The bonding of materials with different linear expansion must be evaluated regarding their long-time performance, particularly when loading in application areas with changing temperatures.

* For the bonding of silicone- and TPE-profiles, preliminary tests are absolutely necessary, because of the variety of materials.

* Please consider the advices in the corresponding technical data sheets of the mentioned or recommended products.

*OPEN TIME, as well as the necessary PRESS TIMES, can only be found out through own tests, as they are strongly affected by material, temperature, application quantity, air and material humidity, adhesive film thickness, pressure, and other criteria. The user should provide adequate security additions to the given approximate values.

CLEANING

The cleaning of hardened up cyanoacrylate adhesive is usually made mechanically.

STORAGE

Store in tightly closed original casks, in a dry place, without direct solar

irradiation. Optimal storage between +2°C and +8°C.
